Move the slider to вЂOnвЂ™ for вЂUse the PrtScn button to open screen snippingвЂ™ option. Once the вЂSettingsвЂ™ App window is open, find the setting title вЂPrint Screen ShortcutвЂ™ (Scroll all the way down, itвЂ™s at the bottom of the window.) This will load the Settings page where we can configure the setting. In the settings window at the very top, you will see blue text that reads вЂUse the PrtScn button to open screen snippingвЂ™, as shown below:Д¬licking this blue text will ask us to confirm we want to switch Apps and launch the вЂSettingsвЂ™ App. Now the App is open, click the elepsis (3 dots) in the top right hand corner and select Settings LetвЂ™s launch the App by opening the start menu, browsing to the вЂSвЂ™ section of the Start Menu and clicking the App to launch it (unless you have it pinned to the taskbar already). The easiest way to configure the вЂPrt ScrnвЂ™ key to launch Snip & Sketch is to start from the settings menu of the Snip & Sketch App. If you just want to add a shortcut to it on your taskbar, follow the screenshots and advice in the section above. ItвЂ™s time to wave goodbye to the trusty, but old Print Screen feature and open the doors to the Snip & Sketch App, letвЂ™s get to it. You can make use of the Clipboard history feature when using Snip & Sketch too. Which takes us into our next point, you only snip what you want instead of the entire screen, unless of course, thatвЂ™s what you want. With Snip & Sketch (when the Clipboard is not enabled) it showвЂ™s you the image in the Snip & Sketch App straight after you have snipped the screen, so you know what youвЂ™ve got and if thatвЂ™s not what you wanted, just click New and try again, itвЂ™s that simple. You have to open another program, like Paint, then paste the screen print into the program to view it. LetвЂ™s face it, print screen has been superceeded! It copies your entire screen or active Window (using ALT + PrtScrn) to the clipboard and it doesnвЂ™t even show it to you straight away. Well, IвЂ™m glad you asked, thankfully itвЂ™s an easy answer! - You only snip what you need instead of the whole screen (Or multiple screens if you have more than 1) & itвЂ™s much quicker to press one key instead of a combination of keys or click an Icon. Why Snip & Sketch instead of Print Screen

I find this App so useful I have it pinned to the Taskbar, you can do that by right clicking the icon and selecting Pin to taskbarДonвЂ™t want to add the App to your taskbar, or go into the menuвЂ™s each time you want to take a screen snip, no problem, use the keyboard shortcut keys instead: You can find it in the start menu under the S section, or search for Snip & Sketch.
